We are meeting now every Sunday via Zoom from 9:30 to 10:30 AM to discuss the Bible Project CHURCH AT HOME (see below) programs developed for churches who, during the pandemic, cannot meet together. These videos can be viewed on your own at: https://bibleproject.com/church-at-home/, or you can view them and discuss the scriptures cited and the video with the class on Sunday mornings. All are welcome to join us. Each week has a different, self-contained theme, so each one is not dependent on having viewed previous sessions.

The Bible Project (known for their illustrated video outlines of many of the books of the bible) CHURCH AT HOME was developed as an 8-week series of videos with discussion questions that are pertinent to the crisis of community that we are dealing with today. For example; Week 1 dealt with “Generosity; How did Jesus respond in a time of scarcity?”. Week 2 focused on “Sabbath rest; How can we rest in the midst of restlessness?” The Bible Project team seeks to use each theme to give us hope and a new perspective on the instability of current events. Each session begins with a short video based on multiple scriptural passages and includes a brief narrative about the topic with those passages provided along with discussion questions intended for class discussions. These sessions have provided stimulating connections between the biblical themes and our current days. The Bible Project team is now extending the CHURCH AT HOME series with new themes.
