Outreach

Here at Ardmore Presbyterian Church, outreach means many things. But ultimately, the goal is always putting faith into action by promoting the love of God and the love of our neighbors, through the relationships we make in the name of Jesus, around the corner and around the world.

Outreach in our Church Family

Outreach that supports those directly within our church community who are in need of help, is generally handled by those serving as Deacons in our church. Deacons are elected for three year terms to serve on the Diaconate in this capacity.

 Deacon’s Activities:

  • Care Packages for College Kids
  • Annual Red Cross Blood Drive
  • Meals for Members (in times of need)
  • Cards for Caring
  • Fellowship Time after church
  • Congregational Transportation
  • Flower deliveries to homebound members
  • Visitation to members that can no longer attend church

APC family and friends may request hospital and home visits, emergency meal coordination, and transportation when needed.

Outreach in our Community and Around the World

Outreach outside of our immediate church friends and members are generally guided by our Mission Awareness Committee (MAC). This committee is chaired by a member of our Session, and made up of our members and friends with a passion for mission and outreach.

MAC works with our Mission Partners locally, domestically and around the world to support efforts financially, practically, and in a “hands-on” fashion.
