Volunteers are needed in the church office: Monday mornings, 9:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m. and Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.. Volunteers answer the church phone and handle simple but important tasks such as welcoming visitors to the church office and preschool, proofreading, getting mailings out, helping Gary organize music and other tasks as needed. All ages welcome. If a student needs community service hours over the summer this could be a perfect way to obtain them.
Feel free to ask questions of any of our current regularly scheduled office volunteers, Gren Foote, John Abrams, Barbara Wood or Debbie Young. When it’s quiet you can read a book or magazine or attend to an electronic device. 🙂 The key roles are to warmly welcome visitors to the church and preschool and to reduce interruptions to staff so they can efficiently get their work completed.
