Exploring Our Statement of Faith

This Sunday, our Sunday Morning Adult Small group will begin a 4-week exploration of our APC Statement of Faith. Adopted by our Session in 2018, this brief statement summarizes our central beliefs about God as revealed in the Bible and interpreted through the historic creeds of the Presbyterian Church. This Statement of Faith appears on our website, where it serves to guide Session in its leadership, as well as to share with others the good news of Jesus Christ.
Join us as we we explore the central beliefs contained in this confession: Is the Bible inspired by God in a special way? What is the nature of God, and how is his love revealed to us in the three persons of the trinity? How has humanity fallen, and how can it be saved? How does Jesus’ death and resurrection reconcile us to God? How can our lives be transformed by God, and our church renewed by the Holy Spirit?
We will review the scriptural basis of our faith statements, and hopefully find strength and joy in our common understanding about God’s great love for us! You are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions as desired. Our schedule is as follows:
