Souls Shot Portrait Project

The Mission Awareness Committee would like to make you aware of the Souls Shot Portrait Project, which is a program that displays original portraits of people who have been victims of gun violence. Artists meet with the families of the victims and then create portraits that capture some essence of their lives. The Souls Shot Portrait Project will be on display at Beth Am Israel (1301 Hagys Ford Rd.) from December 20 – January 31 (by appointment only for COVID safety). Details, call 610-667-1651 or email info@bethamisrael.org. You may sign up for an appointment here. Consider joining the opening event in-person or by Zoom, on Thursday, Dec. 16, 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. Artists and mothers of victims will be in conversation as part of a panel concerning the exhibition. RSVP here to attend in-person. RSVP here to attend by Zoom.
