After two lopsided defeats, the “Presbyterian Power” softball team rebounded with a decisive 16-5 victory over the defending League Champions, UCC Valley Forge. Despite the sweltering heat, our team came up with a combination of power hitting and spectacular outfield catches, resulting in a commanding lead that could not be overcome. After coasting to a win, we immediately took a team picture to commemorate (and confirm) our victory. Although our success remains somewhat of a mystery, once we apply some advanced statistical analysis to the scorecard we will likely never lose again!
We take off this week for Memorial Day, but on June 2nd we’re scheduled to play two games to make up for a rain-out. Please come out to support us. (You may be asked to play in the second game!)
