Good Afternoon Township Residents and Businesses:

The Township of Lower Merion is currently seeking applications from Township Residents and Businesses to award grant funding through our federally funded Community Development CARES program, otherwise known as, the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security Act.

The funding available for residents is to assist low to moderate income Township residents, experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic, for up to 3 months of rent or mortgage assistance.

The funding for our Township’s small businesses, is for those experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic, through a Small Business Retention Forgivable Loan/Grant program.

Applications will be accepted until the funds are exhausted, but funding is limited, so we urge you to get your applications in as soon as possible.  There is no application fee.

To access the applications and guidelines, please visit www.lowermerion.org/cdbg or call Emily Crane at 610-645-6118 to arrange to pick up a copy of the application and guidelines or to ask questions about the programs.

Thank you and stay safe.
