CONGREGATIONAL MEETING:
The session has called for a Congregational Meeting on Sunday, November 1, immediately following our 10:30 am worship service.
The purpose of the meeting is:
- to change our bylaws to allow for virtual meetings and voting. Here are the Bylaws with changes highlighted in red.
- to elect officers for the coming year. Here is a listing and information about the officers being nominated.
- We need to have a quorum of 30 voting church members in order to convene this meeting – and be able to include those connecting virtually for our November 15 Congregational meeting to vote on extending the call and terms of call to our new pastor.
STEWARDSHIP:
Our Stewardship Sunday will be November 8. We ask you to mail or bring your card to church by November 8. This week, our youth went on a hayride (in the rain!!), our Preschoolers did a treasure hunt for Halloween treats (even in the garden!), we celebrated Reformation Sunday with banners and bagpipes, and young and old(er) folks gathered to parade and sing and enjoy community in our outside Halloween Celebration.
