Grace and Peace to you!
They are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season, and their leaves do not wither. In all that they do, they prosper. (Psalm 1:3)
It is Reformation Sunday, and we hope you can join in person or wherever you are at 10:30 am on Sunday, 10/25, to worship with banners, bagpipe, and prayers. My sermon looks at Psalm 1 and how our faith and community keep us Well Rooted.
Here is an opportunity to hear (and sing along with!) our worship music from last Sunday (10/18).
The session has called for a Congregational Meeting on Sunday, November 1, immediately following our 10:30 am worship service. The purpose of the meeting is to change our bylaws to allow for virtual meetings and voting, and to elect officers for the coming year.
While we are always thankful to God, this is the time in our calendar year that we focus on all that God has given us, and how we can share in our giving with our Stewardship. Hoping you received a letter from Stewardship & Finance and will prayerfully consider how you will respond in supporting the life and ministry of APC. Each Sunday, a church member will share what APC means to them in a Stewardship Reflection during worship. Our Stewardship Sunday will be November 8. We ask you to mail or bring your card to church by November 8.
In gratitude for God’s blessings,
