Message from Pastor Diane: Links to Worship on 10/11, Updates to Covid Safety Protocols, Harvest Festival and upcoming Book Discussions

Joy to all on this beautiful fall day!
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness; come into his presence with singing.
Know that the Lord is God. It is he that made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, bless his name.
For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. (Psalm 100)

MUSIC:
Here is an opportunity to hear (and sing along with!) our worship music from last Sunday (10/4).
SAFETY:
Our Safety Task Force continues to meet to oversee and plan for safely gathering in this time of COVID-19. We have updated our Safety Protocol based on the most recent recommendations.
HARVEST FESTIVAL:
Next SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18, plan to gather outside from 5-6 PM for a HARVEST FESTIVAL. Enjoy campfire songs, a fire pit, stories, and s’more-making. Please bring along food items for the Food Pantry, a camp chair or blanket, and your mask!
BOOK DISCUSSIONS:
Our next book will be Let Justice Roll Down, by John Perkins. Our discussion will be held on Tuesday, 10/20, at 7 p.m.. You can participate either from the Mill Creek Room or via zoom.
In November, we will be reading and discussing Searching for Sunday, by Rachel Held Evans.
DID YOU KNOW?
Last month, our Deacons did some Drive-by Visits with some of our church members. They sang songs, honked horns, read poems and shared the love and care of Christ – all socially distant!
In hope and prayer,
