An opportunity to assist families who are experiencing homelessness on the Main Line:

The week of March 7-14 would have been a week that St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Ardmore would be hosting families overnight through the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN), and APC as an IHN support congregation, would have helped with volunteers to bring a meal one night. However, during COVID, the families are sheltering in another location, and the request is that people bring certain requested donations to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church between 12:00 & 1 p.m. on Monday (March 8) and Friday (March 12), for delivery to the families. Requested items include: fresh fruit, beverages/juices with no added sugars, and meal contribution(s) for a family. (Families are living and dining separately. The sizes of the families range from 2-5). A meal contribution that is packaged in such a way as to be able to be reheated in a microwave is helpful. If you would like to sign up to drop off a contribution or if you need further details, please contact Schaunel Steinnagel, rvschaunel@aol.com or 610-658-2636, (home) or 302-463-0542 (cell). Thank you for your help!
