This note confirms that the money sent by APC through the Mission Awareness Committee has been received from Western Union and delivered to the KUPC treasurer. This gift goes a long way in helping some of the KUPC members and others in the community to make ends meet during these times of covid isolation. Munyaradzi Kwenje, Session Clerk, shares that the ban has recently been lifted and churches are beginning to be allowed to meet together for Sunday worship. Sadly during recent covid shutdowns, the church has had quite a few funerals including for the death of one of the church elders.
From Elder Kwenje: “With your gift, we have been able to purchase staple food items that can be picked up by church and community families who are experiencing a dire need. These food bundles bring amazing joy to those who have had very little food these past months. We continue to trust God to provide, and are grateful for how the APC church family has been used by God to help us. We continue to hold Ardmore Presbyterian Church in our prayers.”
