Gun Violence Awareness Opportunity: Heeding God’s Call

The Mission Awareness Committee would like to make you aware that Sunday, April 11, will be a day of vigil and remembrance hosted by four churches in Wayne and supported by Heeding God’s Call to End Gun Violence. This event will begin with a vigil at Wayne United Methodist Church at 3:30 p.m., followed by a march down Lancaster Ave. with stops at Central Baptist Church, Wayne Presbyterian, and St. Mary’s Episcopal. The churches will erect a “Memorial to the Lost” with t-shirts memorializing 400 victims of gun violence in Philadelphia in 2020. Anyone may join the vigil!
