Donations Needed for Members of The Welcome Church who are Homeless

As we continue to support  social distancing  and try to help to meet the needs of people who are experiencing homelessness, The Welcome Church is requesting donations of the following items for our shelter for women, The Well:
Sugar, Juice, Bread, Laundry Detergent (preference is for smaller bottles which can be easily carried to the laundromat and also then refilled from larger bottle(s))  Hand Sanitizer (same preference as for Laundry Detergent),  Umbrellas.
People can drop off donations to my house (242 W Montgomery Avenue, Haverford).  I I will transport the donation to The Well, seeking to limit the total number of people/interactions that have to go to The Well. I will be going to Philadelphia to drop things off appropriately once per week, so people are welcome to drop any contributions off at my house at any time!

The Well remains open daily, with extended hours that the women can stay inside the building.  This is a setting that both social distancing and direct service are able to be occurring!  Unfortunately, the other gatherings of The Welcome Church have had to be suspended, until the end of the stay-at-home order, because it seemed to be to be taking too much of a risk with people s physical health, to continue to sponsor group gatherings.  (Thank you to all who were so sweet and kind to donate cookies for The Welcome Church!  This is no longer a request that we are making, at this time.)
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Rev. Schaunel Steinnagel
