- The Christian Education Committee is pleased to offer Rediscover Jesus: An Invitation by Matthew Kelly to every family during this season of Lent. Kelly’s devotional offers forty meditations as the church journeys through the desert to the empty tomb. Please feel free to read as a family or with a small group of friends.
Please contact Cathie Calkins (Catherine.calkins@gmail.com) if you are interested in gathering with a small group to discuss this book throughout Lent.
- JOURNEY THROUGH HOLY WEEK will be explored during the Sundays of Lent. Beginning March 6 until April 10, Sherina Poorman will guide children of all ages in creating a special leather journal. The project requires “tooling” their own designs into the leather and will be a wonderful keepsake to treasure. After completing their journals, the participants will use their journals for fun activities during the Sundays in Lent.
This project is an activity kids of all ages will enjoy and find meaningful after completing activities using their journals throughout the Sundays of Lent. The highlights of this journey include Palm Sunday, Jesus in the Temple, The Last Supper, and the Resurrection.
