Volunteers are needed as ushers at our Sunday worship services and counters for about 30 minutes after each worship service. If interested, please contact Elder Gary Lovett at gary.james.lovett@gmail.com to become a counter and Elder, Jim Rowe at jrowe@agooslovera.com to become an usher.
Monday and Friday mornings, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and
Thursday afternoons, 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
Volunteers answer the church phone and handle simple but important tasks such as buzzing people in the door, proofreading, getting mailings out, helping Gary organize music and other tasks as needed. All ages welcome. If a student needs community service hours, this could be a perfect way to obtain them.
Feel free to ask questions of any of our current regularly scheduled office volunteers, John Abrams, Jane Boyle, Gren Foote, Debbie Young or Barbara Wood. When it’s quiet you can read a book or magazine or attend to an electronic device :-). The key roles are to warmly welcome visitors to the church and preschool and to reduce interruptions to staff so they can efficiently get their work completed.
