THIS SUNDAY (9/6)
Looking forward to gathering for worship OUTSIDE this Sunday, September 6, at 10:00 a.m. Since we are outside, we will begin with a hymn sing. There will also be a link to a recorded service sent out before Sunday. Chairs will be available, or you may bring your own.
NEXT SUNDAY (9/13)
This is Homecoming Sunday! We will gather for worship at our regular 10:30 a.m. time. The plan is to use our newly installed video streaming system to live stream our worship. A link will be sent and available from our website. We will continue to sing outside (with masks and socially distant) at the end of our worship. There will be some extra Homecoming treats: APC face masks and ice cream sandwiches.
FALL PROGRAMMING
CHILDREN
CHERUB CHOIR: Will be virtual using zoom on Wednesdays from 6:15-6:45 pm, beginning on 9/9.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR: Will be held in person, outside, on Wednesdays from 5-6 pm, beginning 9/9.
FAITH AT HOME: A Family Bible Devotional will be delivered to each church family (with elementary age children), with a Bible Story and activity for each week. This story will be the basis for Wednesday’s Word with the Preschool Children and the Children’s Message in worship each week.
TAKING FAITH HOME: We will continue to offer families books and activities to supplement their faith development while at home. Bags can be picked up and dropped off on the BACK PORCH of the Parish House.
WALKER CHAPEL: During worship, children will have access to Bibles, books, activity sheets, paper & crayons located in the Walker Chapel. Oversight by parents is required, and Children are required to stay at a safe distance.
CHILDCARE: Childcare is not able to be safely offered during worship at this time. The nursery is a location where parents can go with their children and still hear the service.
YOUTH
YOUTH GROUP: The youth will have in person/outside activities usually on Sundays from 4-5:30 pm, (and occasionally evening events) beginning 9/13.
YOUTH BELLS and YOUTH CHOIR: Plans are still being set for safely gathering these groups.
