Each year, people who have died during the year—either while experiencing homelessness or having experienced homelessness at some point in their lives—are remembered on the “longest night of the year” (December 21), on Homeless Memorial Day, as we re-commit together to end homelessness among us. This year’s Homeless Memorial Day event for Philadelphia will take place on Tuesday, December 21, from 4-5pm, at Thomas Paine Plaza. The event will be both in-person and livestreamed on Facebook.
