To the APC Community:
Jesus prayed that we might be one. One in spirit, One in mission,
In union and communion with each other and with You.
On this World Communion Sunday, give us eyes to recognize your reflection in the eyes of Christians everywhere.
Give us a mind to accept and celebrate our differences.
Give us a heart big enough to love your children everywhere.
We thank you for setting a table with space enough for us all! Amen.
From the Africana Worship Book
THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4, is World Communion Sunday. We will celebrate communion safely with Christians all around the globe during our 10:30 am worship service. Hoping you will consider:
- Gathering safely in our sanctuary.
- Gathering safely outside, streaming worship and safely being served communion.
- Remain at home, watching the streamed service, and share in the prayers, meaning and mystery of Jesus’s sacrifice.
We are blessed that wherever two or more are gathered, the Spirit of God meets us and makes this meal holy.

Our Deacons joined together for a “Deacon Drive-by” to socially distant visit some of our church members with music, signs, poetry and God’s love. Check out the photos here:
