PRINCETON THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY – 2019 FALL BOOK SALE TOTAL RECEIPTS: $20,000

2019 FALL BOOK SALE

TOTAL RECEIPTS: $20,000

APC’S participation helped PTS reach this total!

In speaking with the administrator of the PTS Multi-Cultural Center we learned that for three years the monies earned from the PTS Book Sale has gone to rebuilding work at the Evangelical Seminary in Puerto Rico. The hurricane destroyed (fully or partially) classrooms, chapel, library (all the books were damaged) and a roof that was blown away. Students and faculty from the seminary went multiple times to Puerto Rico to help with the reconstruction.

WHAT HAPPENS WITH LEFTOVER BOOKS? After the sale in Princeton, a pastor from upstate NY comes with a truck and takes books to NYC to be used in a reading program there. Books are also delivered to other places in need —– NO BOOKS ARE RECYCLED OR PUT INTO LANDFILLS.

FOR ALL WHO BAGGED AND LUGGED BOOKS TO THE CHURCH —  KNOW THAT YOUR BOOKS HAVE FOUND NEW HOMES!

Thanks for your help! Your APC Mission Awareness Committee
