Online Giving News
Since initiating in April 2019 and due to the pandemic, APC has seen a dramatic increase in the use of our online giving portal in 2020 offered on our website. Currently, 50 members have donated approximately $70,000 this year using our online giving portal, compared to 21 members donating $16,000 at the same time last year.
In order to provide more options for our members, two additional options have been added for those who are interested in donating online. A Mission Fund has been added for those who are interested in donating to Mission programs and offerings such as the Peacemaking Offering, Christmas Joy Offering, Great Hour of Sharing Offering, First Place and the Alternative Gift Fair. Instructions are provided within the online portal on designating specific donations.
In addition, a Building Preservation Fund has been added for those who are interested in donating to help preserve and maintaining APC’s historical buildings and grounds.
Our two existing online options, the General Fund & Preschool Fund are to be used to support both the Church and APC’s Weekday Preschool.
The General Fund is to be used for donations associated with members pledges to APC to support the churches ministries and overall operations.
The Preschool Fund is to be used by parents of children attending the Preschool to pay for tuition and also for donations as well as for donations to be used to support the mission of the Preschool and Scholarship Fund.
