Our Presbyterian Power softball team’s goal for this Sunday’s 1:30 pm game is to be a much better team than the perennially Good Samaritans of Paoli. Since Good Samaritan Episcopal has been accused (by some teams) of padding their rosters with “ringers”, we have decided to fight fire with fire. During our off week, management has scouted the Catholic Church softball leagues of Delaware County. We have subsequently signed three good players who all have relatives married to Presbyterians, making them supremely eligible to play for our team. Since these players also have relatives married to Episcopalians, it is clear to see who has gained the upper hand for Sunday’s contest.
