Lyric mezzo-soprano Kaitlyn Michelle Waterson performs art song, opera, and musical theater alike with stunning clarity and charisma. Her opera affiliations include Delaware Valley Opera Company and West Chester University Opera Company, where she has performed leading roles such as Prince Charmant in Cendrillon (Massenet) and Hansel in Hansel und Gretel (Humperdinck). Kaitlyn has been featured as a soloist with West Chester University Symphony Orchestra, Csik Chamber Orchestra of Csíkszereda, Romania (with which she has performed two world premieres), and Vidin Sinfonietta of Vidin, Bulgaria. Kaitlyn’s teachers include Susan Rheingans, In Young Lee, Randall Scarlata, and Cara Latham.
Kaitlyn is a professional chorister with Philadelphia Symphonic Choir, Vox Amadeus, and Mendelssohn Club; she also teaches voice and piano throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area. Kaitlyn is a Market Research Analyst for Armature Group, a personal trainer at The Sporting Club Main Line in Bryn Mawr, a European history enthusiast, and a writer of historical fiction.
