The softball gods have not been kind to our Presbyterian Power team this year. Last Sunday we were again rained out of a game against an inferior opponent. Perhaps our idolatrous belief in softball “gods” is the problem. Or maybe it’s global warming. But the fact remains that we had our most talented team ever, ready to take the field last Sunday, when the rains began. To combat this trend in future seasons, management has put in a budgetary request to the Ardmore, Phoenixville, and Paoli church sessions for a domed stadium. As the church elders ponder the cost effectiveness of said stadium, the players will be taking another week off this Sunday for Fathers Day. The next game will be on June 24th on the perpetually soggy Main St. field in Berwyn.
