New family at First Place

Our current guests at First Place are refugees from Afghanistan.  Abdul, his wife Neela, and their 3 year old son, Abdul Muqtader, arrived on October 10th and will be staying at First Place until a permanent home for them is found.  They are clients of the Bethany Christian Services resettlement agency. Abdul worked for the US forces in Afghanistan and is fluent in English. Theirs is the eighth family that has called First Place its temporary home since we opened this past February. Again, if you have any leads on housing or jobs, please let me know.
